The Knockout, Creative and Portfolio of 3 Back to Back Competition Extravaganza

A very competitive couple of weeks !

Well the competition test of the year is upon us - a full 2 weeks crammed with PDI and print competitions testing the most able of photographic athletes organisational and mounting skills. Certainly there are going to be some front rooms awash with prints, mounts, masking tape and other sticky stuff. There is one dog in a certain photographers household still trying to remove tape from his rather large clumsy paws.

For some of the newer members, the ‘Knockout’ competition seems to have an air of gladiatorial combat about it, with cameras swinging around and being used as weapons of war. To be fair I think it adopts a tone more suited to Mastermind as opposed to Russell Crowe waving his sword around in the coliseum.
