My main interest is wildlife photography, stemming from a 20 year "career" as a bird watcher. On leaving the teaching profession in 2007 it was a logical step to spend my now extensive free time to photograph the birds I had seen through my bins. This inevitably led to a wider interest in wildlife, fed by many trips to foreign lands. Joining BHPS in 2016 expanded my photographic scope further, but it is still wildlife in all its aspects that sustains my enthusiasm for photography.
