Rules: ThIs is a competition of THREE ROUNDS. Up to TWO IMAGES may be entered in EACH OF THE THREE ROUNDS. Colour pictorial plays down the identity of the subject and stresses the artistic input of the photographer, by way of atmosphere, mood, pattern or viewpoint. Subject matter is flexible. This category is open to any colour image.
Record
Rules: Up to TWO PDI’s may be entered. Images are of man-made structures or objects and should show form, textures and size of the subject. The image should provide information for the item to be reconstructed if destroyed. It should be non-pictorial and of good technical quality, i.e. sharp with no distortion and of accurate colour. Lighting should be such as to show maximum detail. The size of small objects can be indicated by the inclusion of a ruler or a coin. Titles should include as much information as possible, e.g. location, age, what part of the whole, maker, etc.
