Competition Time! Round 3 of both Colour and Mono Prints. Two for the price of one !!

Well we are getting to the end of the competition season (a bit like the end of the football season but with less trophies and drama). Tonight its the third round of both the colour and mono prints and as we’ve already had two rounds before, it means the points from all the rounds will be added and thrown into the mix for the end of year awards (bit like the BAFTA’s but with a lot less glam). No doubt there will be a bird somewhere, a portrait somewhere and looking back on previous entries a potential pile of dead insects (just don’t ask).

Results to follow……….

And so it’s the morning after and the results are in! A really good night with a superb range of entries in both the colour and mono competitions with excellent critique and judging by Zoe Garnham-Archer. Yes we had some birds, some portraits, a one legged Victorian woman, a female warrior, some chemical elements and lots of other stuff!!

Colour came first with Bill Metson, Mick Sadler, Paul Adams and Richard Winston all taking the maximum 10/10 in the class 1 section. In class 2, Mark Adams and Simon Smith also scored maximum marks.

Some of the winning colour entries are below.

'Ramsgate Reflection' by Paul Adams.
